Atelier Fomenta is formed by the collective practice of Julia Arvelo, Florence Barnabé and Muriel Bentolila. Their practice is rooted in a constant curiosity towards industrial and accessible materials translated in collections of objects for residential and commercial spaces. They believe in a work that is expressed through an economy of means and gestures with a touch of humour.
All Fomenta projects are handmade in Montreal with local artisans.

We like working with what’s already there and elevating it, with lighting, custom objects, and the mix of different materials like metal, wood and textile; creating spaces of opportunities.
